How to Play:

The game begins with the player controlling the white checkers. A simple checker moves one square diagonally forward. Once a checker reaches the opposite back row, it is crowned a queen. The queen is a powerful piece, able to move diagonally any number of squares, both forward and backward. The core rule is mandatory capture: if you can capture an opponent's piece, you must. Simple checkers capture by jumping over an adjacent piece to an empty square behind, and can capture both forward and backward. The queen captures by jumping over a piece and landing on any empty square beyond in the same line. You win by capturing all opponent pieces or leaving them with no legal moves.
